Fundamentals Yoga Ropes Class: https://www.artemisyoga.com/schedule/
Artemis Yoga, Watertown
The Fundamentals Ropes class will help you gain strength, flexibility, and confidence as you access tight or unresponsive areas of your body while exploring familiar poses in new ways. Kurunta means “puppet” in Sanskrit, and is comparable in ropes yoga to how a marionette puppet works. You use the ropes as if you were a puppet on a string finding new ways to support and hold postures in order to gain greater balance, mobility, and flexibility in all parts of the body. Many students find that the wall ropes help guide the alignment of challenging poses more clearly. They also provide helpful relief from the laws of gravity so that you can concentrate on other aspects of difficult poses. Be prepared to have fun as both the puppeteer and the puppet in this class! ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Kiki Patel, Private Student:
I decided to take one-on-one yoga classes with Pam in her studio because I have endured quite a few health challenges, including a labral tear and a back injury that led to spinal fusion surgery. As a result I had a fear of practicing yoga again, but Pam made me feel secure and at ease. She designed a program for me focused on core stability and hip strength and provided modifications for challenging poses. I didn’t think I would ever be able to practice yoga again, but Pam made it happen for me. Her philosophy is that yoga is for everyone and she uses techniques from the Iyengar method during her one-on-one teaching sessions to provide personalized adaptations.
